Pourcieux is a haven of tranquillity with 900 inhabitants, in the middle of Provence Verte. Stroll along to the village and buy a baguette ready for breakfast under the wisteria… or give in to the ritual aperitif outside a café, in the shade of the plane trees in the village square, where the fountain, one of the sculptor's many works of art, enjoys pride of place.
In Saint-Maximin, 5 km away, or in Trets, 6km away, you will find all the shops you need, as well as two weekly markets.
If you arrive by road, take the Saint Maximin exit on the A8 motorway. Pourcieux is just 5 km away.
Marseille Provence international airport and Aix en Provence main train station are around thirty kilometres away, and can easily be reached via the RN7. Nice and all the towns along the Côte d'Azur are an hour's drive away in the opposite direction. The Italian border and the town of Vintimille, famous for its large weekly market, are an hour and a half away by road.
The beaches of Cassis, Marseille, Bandol, Hyères, le Lavandou are around 30 minutes away by car.
