The Bastide is at the edge of the little village of Pourcieux, renowned for its high quality wine, AOC controlled origin Côte de Provence.
The wonderful town of Aix en Provence is a fifteen minute drive away. Both a spa town and an artists' town, Aix en Provence is an open-air museum and work of art! As visitors stroll through the old city of Roy René, they will uncover its hidden architectural treasures and a labyrinth of pedestrianised alleys filled haphazardly with restaurants, cafés, art galleries, antique dealers and shops of all kinds. Three times a week, one of the largest and most interesting markets of Provence is also held here.

The beaches of the Mediterranean are around thirty kilometres away. From there, you can choose from a large selection of boat trips that will take you to the île du Frioule, the îles des Embiez, the île de Porquerolles, the île de Port-Cros or the île du Levant.
